In this project, we were taught in detail the steps of UIUX designing and thus, to follow each step and apply it to our targeted application. I created one of the personas, user empathy map, style guide, a few thumbnail sketches, user flow chart and prototyping of the improved application. Once our research and prototype were completed, we were to present the process and final product.

PROCESS

I was inspired to tackle the EZ-Link application because a friend had complained to me about the app casually. In the first phase of our research, I was then curious about the other people’s feedback on this application. Upon looking at the app store reviews, I could see how many other users were incredibly frustrated with this app as well. Transportation is one of the most important parts of Singapore and the EZ-Link app was the only transport application with a top-up function. With that, I felt like this was the perfect problem that Singaporeans were facing and thus, proposed this as our target application.
