DESCRIPTION

For this User Interface and User Design group project, we were tasked to find an existing product in any form of media and improve upon it. We decided to pick a product that we were familiar with as well as existing frustrations that we had with the application. For that, we looked into the YouTube mobile application.



BACKGROUND

TASK

In this project, I handled parts of the initial research as well as designing the wireframes and prototype together with two of my other team mates. We used Figma to put together the wireframes and layouts, setting them up into an usable prototype.



PROCESS

For the process, we started off by doing our own analysis of the application, understanding the pain points and important features. After that, we looked for personas that may face the same pain points or have specific needs for the application. Through knowing that, we proceed by creating the wireframes, having rough shapes for the layout of the application. Once completed, we sent it out for the first round of user testing with users who fits our persona group. We repeated the same steps after that, iterating the prototype each time to include more information and finalizing the prototype.
